Change Never Happes By Itself
You know you always read these inspirational quotes about being fit makes for a happy mind.. they are actually totally true! But you have to do it yourself. I would encourage everyone to live a healthy & active life – try it for just a month!! If you’re like me you will see a total difference in how you feel, how you act, how you deal with problems, and how easy it seems like to accomplish things. Anything!
My body makes me feel like I can take over the world (well maybe I can?)!! My mind is at ease. My doubts are vanishing, my self worth is exploding, and I’m wearing a smile inside and out. It’s like you’re walking on clouds! I’m feeling like a life ninja, easily conquering every day ready to fight anything that tries to block my way!!
Sure, after each workout – even if it’s just stretching & yoga at the beach – the next morning your body feels like run over by a truck. But it gets stronger with each day!!
This week, I climbed the Grouse Grind, walked Koda twice a day, did two 5k runs, a Burlesque dance class, and three yoga sessions at my all time favorite happy place (see photos).
I’m eating tons of veggies, beans and fruit with vanilla yogurt (best thing on a hot summer morning!), quinoa, chia & hemp seeds and fish. Big breakfast, good lunch, little dinner. Water, water water. Still working on that enough-sleep thingy.. nobody’s perfect haha.
